Biography

Rebecca Bogaers has been working as a PhD student at the Brain Research and Innovation Centre since September 2018. Her project is the result of a collaboration between the Ministry of Defence and Tilburg University. Prior to this she followed the Bachelor Psychology and completed a Research Master in Social and Behavioral Sciences.  During her studies she became more interested in studying behavior in groups. Her doctoral research focused on making choices by individuals regarding mental health, and how these choices are influenced by the group to which they belong. 

Overview of projects within the BRAIC

At the Brain Research and Innovation Centre, Rebecca examined the influence of stigmatization around mental health complaints on the sustainable employability of Defence personnel.
