Biography

Amber finished her Bachelor Psychobiology at the University of Amsterdam. During her Bachelor internship she helped with an ongoing research. This research studied the influence of stress on intrusive memories after watching a trauma film. Throughout her Master Psychopharmacology and Pathophysiology at the University of Amsterdam she completed two internships. During her first internship she studied different biomarkers of age in rhesus monkeys, furthermore she studied the influence of covid-19 on the brain of rhesus monkeys. Her second master internship she performed at the BRaIC. She studied the knowledge and attitude about CBD among of General practitioners. In august of 2022 she finished her Master’s degree and she started her current position as research assistant BRaIC in September 2022.

Activities

Amber helps with different projects, PATROL and BOOSTCAMP will be het main focus.
