Overview of projects within the BRAIC

In March 2023, Karlijn started her PhD in collaboration with the UMC Utrecht and the University of Utrecht, under supervision of dr. Elbert Geuze, prof. dr. Dennis Schutter and dr. Fenne Smits. The aim of the project is to investigate whether brain stimulation (transcranial alternating current stimulation: tACS) could have beneficial effects on the effectiveness of PTSD exposure therapy among military personnel and veterans.
