L. (Lisanne) Slot MSc.

Lisanne has been working as a research assistant at the Expertise Centre MGGZ since April 2026. After completing her bachelor’s degree in Communication at NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences, she obtained a master’s degree in Communication Science from the University of Groningen. There, she specialized in research on text, language, and social interaction, making extensive use of methods such as text analysis and conversation analysis.

During her master’s programme, Lisanne conducted research on how students respond to the use of “I would” in combination with teachers’ advice in academic feedback interactions. She subsequently worked for several years on an interdisciplinary project aimed at gaining a better understanding of non-response in surveys. In addition, she contributed to various research projects at the University of Groningen and Utrecht University of Applied Sciences.

Alongside her research experience, Lisanne has held various communication roles, including positions as a communication officer, copywriter, and journalist. At the Expertise Centre, she is therefore involved not only in research activities but also in the department’s communication.
