Her PhD research is a collaboration between the Dutch Ministry of Defence, UMC Utrecht, and Tranzo, Tilburg University. Within this research, she focuses on reducing stigma surrounding mental health problems and increasing the sustainable employability of military personnel. This includes examining how military personnel can be supported in disclosing their mental health problems and what military personnel and supervisors need to identify mental health problems at an earlier stage and facilitate disclosure.
