Biography

Remko van Lutterveld has been working as a Senior Researcher at the Brain Research and Innovation Centre since September 2019. He obtained his doctorate from the University Medical Center Utrecht on cognitive neuroscientific research into auditory verbal hallucinations (“voice hearing”) in people with and without a psychiatric disorder. In 2014, he went to study mindfulness and meditation at the Center for Mindfulness at the University of Massachusetts as a post-doctoral researcher and later as a Senior Researcher. From 2018 to 2019, he worked as an Investigator at the Mindfulness Center at Brown University in Rhode Island. His research focuses on neuroimaging, mindfulness and e-Health to improve mental health.
