Biography

Zoë has been a research intern at the Expertisecentrum MGGZ since March 2026. In 2025, she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts & Sciences from Utrecht University, with a major in Cognitive and Neurobiological Psychology. During her bachelor, she wrote her thesis on the influence of stress and auditory salience on navigation performance, for which she developed a virtual maze in Unity.

She is currently enrolled in the Master’s program Neurosciences at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. With a background in neuroscience, Zoë is involved in the BOOSTCAMP research project. Within this project, she primarily focuses on the effects of cannabidiol (CBD) on stress responses, on both the physiological and psychological level.
