Biography
Sara Milosevska is a PhD candidate at the Expertise Center for Military Mental Healthcare (MGGZ). She obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Artificial Intelligence from Radboud University, followed by the Research Master in Neuroscience at Erasmus University Rotterdam. After completing her Master’s degree, Sara worked at the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology in the research group of Prof. Erik De Schutter, and within the group of Dr. Miriam Klein-Flügge and Dr. Caroline Nettekoven at the University of Oxford. There, she investigated the role of the cerebellum in cognition using fMRI, optically pumped MEG, and focused ultrasound neuromodulation.
Work
In February 2026, Sara started a PhD project in collaboration with UMC Utrecht, under the supervision of Prof. Elbert Geuze, Dr. Fenne Smits, and Maj. Dr. Eva de Krijger. In her doctoral research, she investigates how expectations, context, and learning processes influence and could potentially improve treatment outcomes.
